My name is Victoria Fletcher and I am the owner of Hoot Books Publishing. I published my first book in 2011 and began helping other authors get their books published through Create Space. In 2016, I began Hoot Books Publishing. I was a former public school teacher in Washington County Virginia. I received my Bachelors Degree from Virginia Intermont College in Bristol, VA and my Masters Degree from Tusculum College in Greenville, TN. I began writing poetry when I was 12 years old and have always enjoyed writing. I now enjoy working with other authors to get their stories published. From 1998, when I first started trying to publish my first book, I have had a traditional publisher, and numerous self-publishing companies work with me. I soon learned that these companies did good work and my books have sold well, but the publishers received the money and I saw little return for my money and tremendous effort.
